Christopher Eccleston (born 16 February 1964) is an English actor, best known for playing the ninth incarnation of the Doctor in the television series Doctor Who. He has also appeared in Gone in 60 Seconds, The Others, Jude and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
Eccleston portrayed Malekith the Accursed in Thor: The Dark World.
