Mandarin as possible villain in Avengers 2

Now, I know it's years early, but anyway, could the Mandarin be the villain in Avengers 2? He would be very diferent from Loki. Why? His rings would make him very powerful being able do all kinds of things such as blasting different kinds of energy (if he relates to his comic counterpart). Who knows? Hulk would probably not smash him as easily as he did with Loki. He would make a goddamn powerful villain. He can beat down Iron Man pretty well in the comics being able to tear Iron Man's armor. Now to the next question. What do you think?
